Due to some discrepancies found when reviewing the rubrics, required submissions, and event scoring; the committee decided to release a V2.1 for the 2023 competition. This should not directly impact any student-driven designs but will hopefully clarify some aspects of the rules. Below is a list of changes. This may not be an exhaustive list, so please take the time to review the new release.

• Tables DR-1 and DR-2 – Presentation pamphlet requirement removed. This is no longer required or graded for the sales presentation.
• S.15.3.4 – Corrected equation to be used for CI emissions weighting.
• DR.3 – Including direct verbiage that allows SAE to publish and release team submissions.
