Position Title: Endurance Volunteers
Position Description: Volunteers working Endurance will serve as course control for student teams traveling approximately 100 miles as the event is to evaluate the snowmobile endurance and durability. A trail judge will maintain a speed consistent with trail conditions following all trail signs and rules. Volunteers will support the trail judge by enduring competing teams are maintaining the speed behind trail judge and following all safety rules.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/ Experience: Volunteers should have a general familiarity with and be comfortable operating snowmobiles. In addition, feel confident they can operate course safety as instructed by Event Captain.
SAE CSC experience is not required but preferred.
Orientation and Training: Onsite training led by the Event Captain.
Work Conducted via onsite
Time Commitment: 1 day
SAE Members only: Membership not required.
